I really don't know @Aaron but maybe the 'beach worms' are more like sighting 4485044? These creatures were very active within the shallow pools, constantly on the move and every now and then would dig their front ends into the sand briefly as though searching for prey.
Dumb question: are these like "beach worms" that fisherman catch by luring them out of the sand with pieces of fish in stockings and the like? Their head looks a lot like what I know as a "beach worm"?
