Certainly order Trichoptera, and with ocelli ('eye spots') on the head, 5 segmented maxillary palpi with terminal segment not flexible, and given size of 5 to 12 mm, probably family Hydrobiosidae. Larvae in this family are predatory and don't build cases until ready to pupate, when they build cases using coarse sand grains, usually under stones or in crevices in rocks. Very nice image.
