Yes looks more like M costulifera than M hirsuta, and not M drummondii, but it’s hard to be certain with just visuals of fronds.

Yes. That's the problem with having taxonimists not adequately funded for field trips. They stay in the lab and reclassify stuff. :-(
P. rutifolius used to have two varieties in the ACT, with and without subglandular hairs. The "without" variety seems to have been dropped.

Good to see H. incisa is still present in that area. I first saw a specimen there in 1978, near the turn off where Blue Range Road starts uphill. Also Cyathea australis and Blechnum wattsii. It's an interesting area for ferns.
