Nick, this is weird, I'd like to understand how it happened and potentially how we can replicate it. Are you able to click the EDIT button and try to re-upload your images? Cheers Aaron.
Hi Aaron We've been having a few of these errors. Eg see one from Ryu on CNM, which I fixed: https://canberra.naturemapr.org/Community/Sightings/Details/3395460 This was a reasonably large file, 1.8MB if I remember correctly. Another one I fixed was: https://canberra.naturemapr.org/Community/Sightings/Details/3394756 These were small jpg files, less than 200KB.
Great to see a new group up and running! Another thing that may be consistent with the errors is that none of the images seem direct from a camera - mine had been edited (with a watermark) and that program unfortunately doesn't retain the file info, the button quail was I believe a web upload of images taken on a phone, and this one doesn't appear to be from a camera?
Yep that was exactly it Ryu. The affected files contained no EXIF meta data information. I had a very small part of our code that got caught up on this but is now resolved. Cheers Aaron.
