The photo is not really good enough to say definitely. A good sideways on closeup of a flower head, particularly at the base, would help.
The key in Vicflora separates pinnatifolius from madagariensis thus: in pinnatifolius the bracts and bracteoles (small green leaf-like structures just beneath the flowerhead) are conspicuously black tipped. In madagascariensis they are not. In pinnatifolius the bracteoles overlap the base if the flowerhead; in madagascariensis the bracteoles do not or barely overlap the base of the flowerhead. The ‘seeds’ of pinnatifolius are 1.6-5 mm long; ‘seeds’ of madagascariensis are 1.5-2.2 mm long.
