User's notes
According to Neville Coleman, Australia Sea Fishes South of 30 degrees, the distinguishing features are the black spot at the base of the pectoral fin and flat head.

Myxus elongatus would be < 80%. Not enough detail in the pic to confirm that species. So family Mugilidae it has to be.
