It had yellow and black markings on its inner leg, not visible in photo.

I can just see the cross in the eye - confirming Lit peronii. I high res image should also show small green flecks on the back

Thanks, Patrick and Gaia. As they used to inhabit our toilet system we always referred to them as "dunny frogs". Good to find out their proper name.
