Found only one of these growing in the nature reserve that runs along Nolan Drive in Tura Beach NSW.

Do you have a photo of the undersurface of the fungus, or remember what it looked like? Pores, gills, colour.......?

This one was way to small for me to get up under to photograph the gills, l went back the next day hoping l would be able to but it was no longer there. It was only a few feet from the red one, and the only one l could fine. Taking this photo of it l had to place my camera on the ground as it was so small.

I appreciate the issues. Still it's a good photo of a nice looking little fungus. Maybe at some other time another one will come up there. Sometimes if you have a mirror you can get to see the gills.

I hope so, every day l walk through the same area looking, but yet to find another, and yes next time l will try using a mirror, thank you for the tip it’s greatly appreciated.

Thanks Jackie, with each photo l loaded l couldn’t place it at Tura Beach, l enlarged the map to look for Tura Beach and as l enlarged it the green marker went on and l couldn’t move it. It happened with all the photos l loaded today. All photos are taken on my DSLR Camera I’m not sure if l can do a GPS tracking on it. So my apologies for the error. All fungi photos submitted today were all taken in the nature reserve at Tura Beach. Regards Tracey.
