Thousands of these gorgeous animals at Panboola recently, a wonder to watch! Photos were taken at around 4.30pm, many were preparing for flight, and a night spent feeding.

Hi Jackie, it has been wonderful to have them in Panboola. I see them heading out post-dusk, from my cabin in Bald Hills and wondered where they were heading! I also hear a few squabbles locally through the night, so there must be red bloodwood somewhere close-by to where I am. Large groups seem to be heading in a slight nth-westerly direction from Panboola, beyond Bald Hills, although there seems to be less doing so over the last week and a half.
