This is typical of this species, being robust, densely branched, 'branches' with their curved 'v' like intersections. The top of the fungus has relatively flattened tips. It has a cauliflower like look and texture. The colour can vary from this pale cream through to pinkish orange. Though the richer colours may indicate different varieties of this species. All Ramaria are mycorrhizal, that is they are a soil fungus that has an association with one or more nearby plants, usually trees. By the leaf litter I suspect Eucalypt and Allocasuarina spp. These are spectacular fungi and you have a good image of fresh specimen.
