Cap 8 cm. Dry At edge of forest on cleared area
Cap was a pale yellow/gray

What a great looking 'bolete' type fungus. Not one I've seen before so not able to allocate it to a family. So in the mean time I've placed it in the order Boletales which includes all the bolete type fungi families. I'll try and track it down, though it may take some time as I have to consult with an overseas mycologist.
