User's notes
These Truffles are hypogeous fungi, irregularly subglobose shaped to 35mm diam. These were found in a lyrebird scrape amongst the leaf and dirt recently disturbed along the forest track. When cut in half a weak white latex is expelled from the irregularly shaped inner chambers.

Again my comments on your last 'truffle' image apply here. That is an image of the spores needed to try for a possitive ID and notes on the associated vegetation all helps build our understanding of this group of fungi. I notice you were thinking it may be a Zelleromyces, have you looked at Arcangeliella?
