Magpie? Two babies discovered on the ground after the wind storm. The nest they appear to have come from is very high, at the top of a very tall straight spotted gum, too high to photograph but there are more babies in the best. Spread out like this the chicks were about 18cm long, the torso was about 5cm wide and about 5cm high as well.

it was during a really high wind event. This one was beneath very tall spotted gums on the edge of the bush, a friend living on bushy acreage had the thing the same week, near Bega
