Great to see these species coming up. Is the colour in the image true? I was thinking it could be Boletellus emodensis though that species is usually a much deeper red! So this pink is an unusual example. These are mycorrhizal, that is associated with plant roots with both organisms helping each other.

Hi Pam, this is a true colour it was growing in a hole, where I imagine a root has rotted.
