I suspect this may be a species of Galerina that doesn't appear to be on the species list. Do you have any images of the gills or remember their colour please.

Unfortunately I don't have enough details to be able to confirm this fungus with confidence so I'll just have to log it as 'Agarics - gilled fungi' - sorry.
