User's notes

It is difficult to tell the gender of Wombats in the wild unless one sees a female with a joey in the pouch. On this occasion the Wombat was scratching and co-operatively displayed itself as a male (look just beyond the near rear paw)! I have seen this Wombat scratching before and I hope it does not have mange; there is no visual evidence of mange.
