User's notes
Many tiny brown fungi, ringed with (what looks like) blonde hairs) gathering in clusters around bases of trees and exposed roots. Largest cap was 1.5 cms across and barely 2 cms high. Solid feeling fungi with stalk 1-2 mms wide. No gills seen under cap. Last 2 images were taken 2 days later and there were clusters everywhere.
