Birds Nest Fungi (I think) but not sure which one. Very small, 1 cm high at most and looking exactly like a birds nest with little black eggs. I found 1 extended branch reaching up out of a small cluster. This was about 4 cms high and looked like a small fan. Don't know if this was related to the Birds Nest or a completely different thing.
