I really missed this beautiful little spider whilst I was away. Is that an egg sac? The web wrap round it on the branch.

It is not the egg sac of the christmas or jewel spider which is a very elaborate structure of white and orange thread see Austracantha minax (Christmas Spider, Jewel Spider)
