This is the first time I've found anything in my backyard except blowflies. The silhouette one was half the size of the other but they looked the same colouring.

The first photo is of an immature male Wandering Ringtail.
The silhouette is un-knowable and adds nothing to the record, but it being half the size of the other precludes it being a Wandering Ringtail, and I suggest it is just a perception difference. I suggest you dump the silhouette photo from the record.
