User's notes

I can't remember what the plant was they were on, but look at them all. At home I'm lucky to see 5 together - but this looks more like 25! If I look real close (2nd photo) I think I can see the leafhoppers out - but they are quite dark in colour.

...so.. these casings are from the butterfly as well and not some kind of leafhopper?

Hi Kylie, these are pupal shells of the butterfly, with their attendant ants running all over them.
