So it does, thanks Michael. I’m seeing them frequently and always on the one cultivated Goodenia ovata that I have. It has larger flowers and a lot more of them than the G. ovata species that I also have growing. If all my photos are of the same species visiting the same plant, should I hold back on uploading all my sightings of them? I am mindful of your time and don’t wan’t to overdo if sightings on repeat aren’t useful. I ask because I like trying to photograph them so could end up with a lot. Also, Thanks for all the IDs, it’s really wonderful, as a budding bee enthusiast, to have access to this site and your expertise.
Think of the photos as contributions to our communal knowledge. If a picture shows a new species, new behaviour, new features, new location or time of year or even if it is just a beautiful picture, it should be there. Anything you want to share is welcome.
