they were spaced out together in an area of about 1m2. Not sure what they are. A daisy? Bulb? silver grey really stood out.

A lomandra or Dianella? Also could just be a Jonquil.

yes. or maybe even a garlic. the leaves were not like a jonquil - stiffer.
