First ever sighting of a Dugong for NatureMapr and listed as a vulnerable species in Queensland
User's notes
Poor images, provided for record purposes. The Dugong was sighted by fishermen adjacent to the breakwater just before high tide. Several times it partially surfaced for air but wasn't fully visible on the surface. The Dugong eventually stopped surfacing and presumably moved away into the bay.
