I had these moths at another site last week. They don't fly far when disturbed and then fan their wings in and out open closed until finally settling with closed, giving photo ops for the pretty underside

OK, but looking at the underside pattern for C. opipera on Lepidoptera Butterfly House, its similar, but I'm not sure it matches.

Spots and lines look pretty good. Are you worried about the dark suffused patch on back of forewing? Picture of underside of C. insulsata lacks this patch. Peter says it may/may not be same sp.
