@donhe : These ARE the head and leg shots of the female adult. Maybe, I called it a bit too early (as female, that is)

RobG1: this is a very different animal from that which you discovered inside the cut open case. I think this is still a larva, not an adult. In other Psychidae, the female does not come out of the case and crawl about , but just stays patiently entirely within the case awaiting a visit from a male.
