Hmm I'm not entirely sure as I don't think this is one of the known areas for that species. @Tapirlord?

It has been recorded around the upper Nepean. I think I’ll try and find time to go down and have another look at it and get some better photos.

A number of Hibbertia praemorsa (Bundanoon Guinea Flower) have been recorded both at View Point and also down Hell Hole track

That may be more likely, perhaps worth collecting a specimen if you are unsure. Hibbertia are a nightmare to try and key off images.

I think that @Daisy is correct, this keys out to H. praemorsa, at least to the best of my ability. There are a lot of plants growing along an approximately 100 m stretch of the Hell Hole fire trail (or what's left of it). I have plenty more photos, but these are all I could upload.

I have worked with the Botanic Gardens staff collecting this species, and also been successful in collecting seed for them too.
