I don't know whether this is a mouse of some type, or antechinus? These are stills from a video, trying to show the vertical hopping/jumping the animal did (there was nothing in pursuit). Just hopped high, down, sniffed, hopped high, hopped high, sniffed and burrowed, then ran lightly up a thin branch. Long-nosed bandicoot to give a size comparison, taken in the same area earlier that night.
