Old *Eucalyptus melliodora* 'yellow box' trees, an example of remnant trees in this reserve i have revisited since circa 1990 when it was actively the CSIRO Highett site.
Colleague and friend D. B. in the photograph i made with him at the time (shared here with his permission checked today 2024 Oct 16th bu phone).
I don't know if this tree has hollows at any time, present or past.
