The toothed wide flat leaves identify to *Lomandra* ... cf. *longifolia* .

This plant was growing in a clump of Lomandra, so hard to separate, but I'm pretty sure this is a separate plant.

Yep. Impossible to separate in this site sighting, in photography work .
Your photograph 2 importantly for ID does show the long leaves – tetragonous – in cross section, we can make out the evidently–inferred leaf cross section with prior experience of this species .

May I suggest you edit this sighting to make the second photograph the first photograph.
By dragging photograph 1 and swapping its position within the photographs' sequence with photograph 2 .

I have swapped the first photo as suggested, although it doesn't always change it right across the platform.

Okay good. This sighting looks better up front, for more people coming to identify and learn a bit about this species.

Regarding this NatureMapr, website and apps,
I'm still learning about and testing it out, including as in nuances you say about the sighting's order of photographs which i have noticed a piecemeal little bit of in my own NatureMapr recent really active use.

I am not a moderator in this NatureMapr NSW Southern Highlands region.
So somebody else who has first hand experienced knowing of this species, will have to check it and thus confirm or refute this identification .

I'm a vascular plants moderator in this region now as well .
