Interesting fact on distinguishing these families; Trochanteriids can run up glass and Gnaphosids cant!

Gnaphosids & Trachycosmids can scale smooth surfaces as they have claw tufts/Scopulae present, whereas Trochanteriids like Hemicloea sp. can't :)

It will depend on how old the guide is as Trachycosmidae was once lumped under Trochanteriidae. but for Gnaphosids it is a little inaccurate :)
