User's notes
I saw this insect first (and only) in Jan 23. It was memorably weird looking even though I only saw it on the other side of a leaf. This time was really different. I got to see the first one in all its glory as it flew off a Bitter Hop Pea and onto a gum seedling. The second one was further down the track on a 1.5M gum. Presume they were out in the open because of the storm the night before. THe track was littered with leaves, bark and branch bits. Such a beautiful looking insect!
