This moss seems to have a small stem with bright green ‘lettuce leaf’-like whorls progressing up its length, ending in almost a rosette-at the top. Photo 1 provides some context, the rest are attempts at closeups. There may be some relationship with the mosses logged at sightings 4649599 &/ 4649653.
Again as with all my ‘shade cloth canopy’ * moss sightings, I know little about mosses so there is high risk that I’m conflating species whether within or across sightings.
The other sightings relevant to that comment are: 4649572 (this one), 4649587, 4649598, 4649605, 4649608, 4649625, 4649636 & 4649639.
* The shade cloth canopy itself collapsed a few years ago and a substantial amount of leaf litter has accumulated in the depression formed in the top, with several ferns & other plants colonizing the underside, rooting deep into the leaf litter, whilst the lichens and to some extent, mosses are mostly on the more exposed areas, where there is less/no leaf litter.
