User's notes
This was the only macro fungus found in S.A. over a three week period of searching. Growing at the edge of a Pinus radiata plantation in very dry conditions. This area had always been known as a part of the "Green Triangle", now it can be called the 'Parched Triangle', due to a huge drop in the water table and a lack of rain. The changes in environmental conditions are horrific to witness in this area.
