aquatic snail with pointed black shell

Pseudosuccinea columella Family Lymnaeidae. Invasive pond snail from North America. Everywhere in southern Australia and in many places around the world, wherever there are ponds, dams, still water bodies, particularly around human habitation. Shell covered with fine spiral lirae.
