One of the yellow category of butterflies, possibly the Large Grass Yellow (Eurema hecabe). Despite there being a pair of them (photo 4), I didn’t get to see the upper surfaces of their wings properly, but some of the inside patterning was discernible from the outside (especially in photos 1 & 2).

Hi @AlisonMilton , Happy New Year and thanks for this ID! I've just recently been trying to get a handle on the distinctions between the 'Small Grass Yellow (E. smilax), and the 'Large Grass Yellow' (E hecabe), so I'd be particularly interested in your thoughts. Cheers, MazzV
