This large brown butterfly has some significant wing damage which makes identification difficult as does the photo quality. (It is perched high up in a tree)! Photos 2, 2 & 3 show the undersides of the right wings, photo 5 (inset & main) shows the left wing undersides. Photo 4 has all wings underside, though partly obscured by leaves. I’m thinking it could be a Varied Eggfly (Hypolimnas bolina), but that could be way off the mark.
