User's notes

This is a small cicada (photos 2 - 5), all black and dark tan on the upperside, and a light tan with a few black markings on the underside (photos 3 & 4). The legs are mostly the same light tan colouring with black forelegs and feet (photos 3, 4 & 5). The fore wing veins are tan towards the front and merge to black towards the rear. The lowest part of the fore wings have a thick tan edge, thinning once it merges to black towards the rear (photos 2, 3 & 5). The tymbal covering looks to be a light to mid-tan colour (photos 2 & 5). The eyes are a dark tan. Again I have found no photos of cicadas that look like this one.
