User's notes
This is a relatively chunky cockroach, with a dark red-brown body edged in black on the top outer edges (photos 1 & 2). These black edges are themselves surrounded by a white but transparent margin on 3 sides, from behind the head to, what look like 3 broad segments (photo 1). This transparent margin narrows down to a thin line at the outer edges of the next 2-3 narrowly segmented bands of the abdomen. The rest of the abdomen to the rear does not have this margin, (photos 2 & 3). This cockroach does not appear to have wings.
