Perhaps have another go (earlier this arvo there was an outage).
I just had a two goes at adding this when and where the species box says New scientific name.
Then clicking the button: + Suggest new species .
It worked .
Then (as a moderator I have) the tool of clicking the Moderator actions (drop down button) list,
then i clicked Undo.
So that you have the opportunity to make it work.

Checking this sighting, I used Category : Plants – then sub-category : Other trees .
When you have another go through the steps to click and type to add this New scientific name, please i suggest first click the:

• ? Can't find it, – then the button:
• ? Still can't find it .
Then if its working for you, you will see the species box says the background text of:
New scientific name.
Type there: Cryptocarya rigida .
Then click the button: + Suggest new species .

Thank you. I’ll give it a go but, I must admit, I’m finding naturempr quite a challenge. I’ll battle on. Not at all technologically savvy unfortunately and used to using inat.
