I didn’t think it was glycine. Still relying on apps too much. I’ll keep an eye on it.

Good morning !

Google lens, PlantID app, iNat computer vision, and any other Artificial fake-intelligence:
telling the unvarnished truth actually merely pattern recognition by oversized and over-fast calculators', computer machines,
do not work for plant identification.
These apps do not work to identify the components of natural, complex ecosystems, at least 80% of the time.
Often these apps do not work 100% of the time.
Do not work in these tropical rainforest ecosystems,
across the tropics of this whole planet.

Life comprehends life.
Artificial machines do not comprehend life, in its myriad diversity of composition and in its deeper meanings.
Please have faithful confidence in your own mind–brain even when you may feel like not having confidence.
Learning all the plants' spp. in a region in this rich continent always overwhelms until we get to very few left to learn species of plants in the region.
I hope and pray you keep pushing through, if feeling overwhelmed, to the comprehensive knowledge relief and satisfaction.

Our minds–brains always deliver (not too fast, not rushing, though).
Over-sized calculators' computers rush and vainly try to short cut, to cheat to get to, the reality of real first hand knowledge.
That does not work and does not ever substitute for real first hand knowledge.

Please ask people (not computers nor phones nor devices nor apps) for plants' identification.
