User's notes

Healthy, mature, established tree, fruiting quite well this season, including ripe fruits . Somewhat gnarly trunk which looks old. Canopy tree in the Monsoon Vine Forest in less rain–wet part of this landscape than the Gorge and the hills and mountains. Yet sometimes flooded part of this landscape. On the edge of a 'peninsula ' of remaining forest with continuous regeneration in it, between: • the cane paddocks , • elevated above and some 50 to 100m from a distributary creek bank of the River, • and the council internal transfer station; . Beside the cane train tracks on the other side of the tracks from a paddock edge bank, before walking alongside the cane tracks further east to meet the tip road. Just downstream of the Mossman Gorge centre. 2015 Nov. 6th 2:01–2:07 pm.
