User's notes

Awesome spiky sticks made case, housing a caterpillar (larva) of moth species? (to add as a separate sighting). Attached to a notable large fruit of _Beilschmiedia bancroftii_ ( https://north-qld.naturemapr.org/sightings/4674184 ) . On the ground from the forest canopy trees above. Mossman Gorge long loop track on the way up to its ridge highest track point, just up the hill towards the large prominent buttressed 'mahogany' tree _D. pettigrewianum_ (if starting from this large tree going back down the slope of this track ca. 20 m). 2017 Dec. 26th 2:58 – 2:59 pm .
