User's notes

Hercules moth . Perhaps likely female, with large eggs filled body (to research more). Originally seen on the road pavement between two two–storey buildings, in JC Uni. south of the ATFI – Herbarium building and north of the Zoology and so on building . Moved off the road to the forest on the north–east side of the ATFI – Herbarium building. Then i went inside to the lunch tables joining some staff, including Frank Z. and four young women; talked about this, another, hercules moth around this building, well known, and researched including online and with chatting, the food plants of this species; hoping to place this individual on a food plant if indeed it was a mum moth readying to lay her eggs. After that the four young women wished to see this individual moth, especially potentially a mum; so we went out to view her again, photograph and move her to an apparently suitable species of trees for this moth. As Joanna Pittard –research compliance officer– recorded here: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/257912086 . 2025 January 9th 1:08 pm .
