If I look at the area below the fungus I see what I assume is a dusting of brown spores. That is particularly so when I look at the mosses (or liverworts) that are growing on below the fungus. I see some that are green while others have a dusty, brown coating. Ganodema spores are brown. If you look at the Gates & Ratkowsky Tasmanana fungi book you will see that Fomes hemitephrus has some resemblance to Ganoderma australe but gives a white spore deposit.
