really stood out - all on the chip bark in three thick patches. Bright orange to dusky orange caps, brown gills, whitish stalks.

I sometimes see it as a loner but more commonly in groups. In suburban gardens with woodchip muclch I have seen it occasionally in grops of up to a hundred- after which I stopped counting.
