User's notes

I reckon this is Vermilion Waxcap (Hygrocybe miniata), which in Australia is found in rainforest, heathland and eucalypt forest, in this case the latter; specifically DSF (Dry Sclerophyll Forest). This species is not currently an option in the drop-down menu, so can a fungi moderator or admin please add this species if they agree with my ID?

Various descriptions of Hygrocybe miniata give the gill colour as some yellowish scarlet to orangeish shades. Here the gills are whiteish.
