Looks a bit dry on the Google earth Map but I guess thats not the case this season. These grasshoppers mulitply after good rains. Are you visiting that new NP - lucky you.

Yes! The Bulloo overflow was totally full when Ned and I visited, super impressive to see so much water in an otherwise arid landscape. Lot's of Crinium, Senecio, Swainsona as well as plenty of wetland birds.
