User's notes

A large black and orange potter wasp feeding on flowers of a Common Silkpod (Parsonia straminea – refer Sighting 4640075). Photo 5 is a combination of 2 photos showing the inverted v-shape of the black markings on the lower dorsal abdomen. The head and antennae are orange, the eyes brown (photos 1, 2 & 3). the entire body is jet black except for the (what look to be) 5 orange bands on the abdomen (photos 3, 4 & 5). The upper legs are similarly black, becoming orange for most of their length (photo 4), and ending in black ‘feet’ (photo 2). This wasp could be the same Sp as the one at sighting 4695861, which was sighted on the same plant 3 weeks earlier.
