User's notes

A black & tan potter wasp feeding on flowers of a Common Silkpod (Parsonia straminea – refer Sighting 4640075). This wasp has, what appears to be a mostly blue-black abdomen which is orange for the front 1/4, (photos 1 & 2). The dorsal thorax, head and eyes are also blue-black (photos 1, 2 &5), except for a tan tinge to the head from where the antennae emanate (photos 1, 2 & especially 4), and possibly the rear half of the dorsal thorax under the wings (photos 4 & 5). The antennae are all black except for their tan base (photos 1, 2 &4), and the legs are all tan, except for the upper-most sections (photos 3 & 4) which are black.
